Rebuilding our VFW-Post after a devastating Fire

Hello, my name is Roland Zuercher and I am reaching out on behalf of all of our Veteran Members of the VFW-Post 2380 in Deland, Florida; I have been authorized by Mr. Bill Bell, Commander of the above mentioned VFW-Post to open an account with GoFundMe, and initiate and manage this campaign on said VFW Post's behalf.

The Total Loss Of Our Veterans Community Home:

Just as we felt we got back on our feet, after a Tornado,
which took out the roof of our Post on January 4th. 2020 and after a debilitating pandemic called COVID 19, during the past years since 2020 until last year, we just now suffered another devastating blow with a big fire that completely destroyed the inside of our Post. It remains to be determined as to whether the structure is still sound enough to be repaired, because the roof, again, is gone.

Our VFW-Post (2380) in Deland, where EVERY DAY is
Veterans Day and true to our statutes, helps Veterans
with their medical or social needs and assists them with their re-integration after they return from the battlefields in foreign lands. But we also do a lot for the local Community and always step in, when it means to help People out in an emergency. We help provide clothing or food, donated by the more fortunate amongst us and distributed by our Post to the ones who need it most.
Our door was always open when help was needed. And now, we ourselves are in need of your help.
Please help us to get back on our feet, to do good again!

We thank God that no one got hurt or injured in the
fire and while it is a total loss, most can be replaced,
save, a lot of memorabilia that is lost. But the memories of countless hours we spent with our fellow Veterans will stay and with your help and generosity, the will to rebuild is strong, Military Strong!

 The rush to help each other in times of the worst and even less, is what
makes our beloved Nation so unique and strong. Coming together when it counts and stepping in, even in times like these, is our forte.

Yesterday it was them, today it is us and
God forbid, tomorrow it may be You, who can be facing disaster.
