Rebuilding our lives after Hurricane Helena
Donation protected
Around 5 AM on Friday, September 26th, our family lost every car we owned due to the immense rain and wind from Hurricane Helena. An oak tree fell, not only hitting and damaging our house but also totaling all three of our vehicles to the point where they are complete losses. Never did we expect for every car that we own to be demolished within the same night from this storm alongside going on day 5 without power.
We are a family of 7 (2 parents with 4 children still living at home) with the youngest two children being 11 and 9 years old.
Humbly, as we know that there are millions experiencing the same aftereffects of this horrific storm, we are asking for help to rebuild our lives back to some sense of normality. Being able to purchase a single car for our family would be of such great help to us as we all have lives that consist of jobs to travel to and children to get to school.
Thank you for reading our story and we greatly appreciate any help or prayers.
