Rebuilding Our Home from the ashes of the 4th.
Donation protected
On the evening of July 4th my Grandmother and Mother's home burned down. This was my childhood home and the place that 3 generations have been brought home from the hospital to. My grandparents had the home settled onto the property in 1965 and it has been home ever since.
We are now faced with the recovery and rebuild process. We are going to need to pay the insurance deductible and pay for whatever insurance does not cover. We will also need funds for immediate needs to replace some of the everyday necessities that have been lost to the fire itself or the extensive water that the heroic firefighters used to stop the blaze, as well as temporary housing needs while waiting for everything to complete.
Although you can still see a lot of the home on the outside all of the bedrooms and bathrooms have burned away and what remains is filled with at least 3 inches of water. Years of memories and irreplaceable items have been lost, but we will stand strong through it all and make new memories.
If you can help we appreciate it and if not we understand and even just sharing the link is more than enough.
From the bottom of our hearts we truly thank everyone who has commented on a news post or even said a prayer for us through all of it.
