On January 26th we woke up to find our barn roof had collapsed from the ice and snow with our animals trapped inside. We were able to get all of our animals out thanks to emergency services and others in our community but one of our pregnant cows got injured. Our vet induced labor and she blessed us with a beautiful baby boy. We are currently bottle feeding her calf for the next few months which is another added cost. This tragic accident caused us to miss time from work, emergency vet bills, and more unexpected costs. I hate to ask for help but this time of year is tough with it being our slow season for our petting zoo business. Thanks to your donations we were able to pay all vet bills and start buying material to rebuild. We appreciate all the support from the community and will be hosting a community day on the farm this May for everyone that supported us through this.
