On January 26th we woke up to find our barn roof had collapsed from the ice and snow with our animals trapped inside. We were able to get all of our animals out thanks to emergency services and others in our community but one of our pregnant cows got injured. Our vet induced labor and we are currently waiting for her labor to begin. I hate to ask for help but this time of year is tough with it being our slow season for our petting zoo business. Now we are faced with unexpected costs between materials to rebuild the roof and the vet bill.
