One 4 One Grooming was more than just your typical pet Grooming salon. We were norwalk's only Grooming salon that advocates for adoption, rescue, & spay/neuter. We were norwalks pet community outreach resource center. Our small pet food pantry and outreach program OneLove4Pawz helped hundreds of families in need. With donations, we provided FREE & LOW cost grooming services to homeless pets & to pets of people without homes (the houseless).

When I first began One 4 One Grooming in August 2016 , my dream was to create a one of kind business that will help transform & impact the lives of families & their furry familiy members by providing affordable pet grooming services. The goal was to create a more pet centric lifestyle by informing pet parents/families/children about animal welfare, proper pet care, grooming, training , rescue, adoption, offer pet care resources & necessities. Our furry clients were always rewarded with lots of love, patience, treats & often times a FREE GIFT ( toy/stuffed animal) . After 6 yrs in business, so many of our regular long term clients became more than just another customer. They became family , long term friends, true supporters and advocaters of our work.

Unfortunately, yesterday morning Wednesday October 12, 2022 at around 1:45am, all that came to an end, when One 4 One Grooming was consumed by flames & turned into debri with-in hours. What hurts most is not the materialistic part. My team and I have devoted our life, love & passion to this business. We are going to miss all the beautiful memories & relationships we have built over the years with our regular clients.

We understand many of you have so many questions, what /where the fire started. We do to. As of right now we still don't have any specific details. we are waiting on fire investigators report. I will try my best to update everyone with information & details over the next few days/weeks regarding any updates/information. My brain is still a blur/fog as Im trying to understand and process what happened yesterday. Im in complete shock & feels so unreal. I've spent the last 24hrs crying my eyeballs out while Xia & Zorro (my infiniteloverescue foster baby) comfort me. I just feel so defeated. All of our years of hard work turned into rubble with in hours. Seeing it from beginning to end (2:40am- 2pm) was like watching a 12hr horror film. To everyone who has tried to personally reach out to me (through texts, calls, dms, business page) Im so grateful to have you all in my life. I've nevered felt so loved. The last 36 hrs have been extremely emotionally, mentally draining & I just feel so overwhelmed. As of right now, I cant tell exactly what the future holds for us but im trying to stay positive & hopefully we can all recover from all of this in the near future. Sadly my team and I lost everything in that fire. Thousands of dollars worth of grooming equipment; grooming tables, bath tubs, force hair dryers, hair clippers, shears/grooming scissors, shampoos. Everything that would have helped us to continue on, is all completely gone, destroyed. Now, we have to start from scratch, and rebuild our career. Your contributions will help us recreate our dream & continue our mission to help those in need. Im thankful that we are all safe, grateful for the experience & all the beautiful memories left behind. With over 20 years of experience in the pet care industry & 6 years owning a grooming salon/outreach program, I know I can restart, all i need are the tools.
