Hi my name is Kim and my Mum Jackie Tye runs New Life Horse Care in Devon, which not only acts as a refuge for horses in need, but where Equine Therapy is practiced and has helped many many people over the past almost 20 years.

The barn and stables suffered a fire and the end stable furthest from the barn has totally been lost, this was where Equine art therapy was practiced and was a safe space to those who used it. Unfortunately a lot of my Mums own art was lost, a few paintings were salvaged.

The money raised would go towards part replacement roof, and rebuilding the end stable to become a useable area non enclosed, therefore opening the area up to produce more air flow for the horses, and an area for people to sit and be still in the moment, whether that be doing art or just being with the horses.

New Life Horse Care is not just a charity, but it is home to my Mum who has given 20 years of her life to making the set up as strong as it is and as necessary to those in need, human and equine.

Please give anything you can to help with the task of rebuilding, this in itself is quite a task, Mum lives alone, and although pretty tough and self sufficient this has shaken her up.
