Rebuilding Nebraska Ranches After the Morrill Fire

Donation protected
On March 12th, 2026, the Morrill Fire started in the Nebraska Sandhills and quickly grew to be the largest fire in state history, and one of the top 30 largest fires in national history. Many of the families in this area were just beginning the busy spring calving season and have lost much, if not all, of the infrastructure needed for their cattle ranches. When those Sandhills turn green again this summer, there will be hundreds of miles of fence to replace in order for those ranchers to continue raising some of the best beef in the world.

My name is Benton Daly. I currently call Lincoln home, but I am a lifelong Nebraskan. My hope is to raise money to purchase fence materials and other supplies that will help ease the burden of rebuilding after this disaster. I intend to deliver these materials to those communities affected in June of 2026 and spend a few days helping a few local families with the rebuilding process. Please donate if you can.
