I’m raising funds for my mom and stepdad after a tornado severely damaged their home. In just a matter of minutes, they were left with major damage and unexpected expenses they never planned for.

Their sunroom, which serves as their living room, was destroyed, and the furniture and other belongings inside were soaked and damaged. Their laundry room was also severely damaged, including the appliances, and about half of their garage was taken out as well. Right now, they are trying to figure out how to repair the damage, replace what was lost, and get their home back to a safe and comfortable place.

They are having to stay in the damaged house while handling repairs themselves. Trees are being removed now, and our family has also mentioned electrical work as part of what needs to be addressed. This has all happened because of something completely out of their control, and the costs are adding up quickly.

My mom and stepdad have always been there for the people they love and would give the shirt off their backs to help someone else. Now I’m asking for a little help for them. Donations will go toward home repairs, tree removal, electrical work, and replacing damaged furniture and appliances. If you’re not able to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much.
