Help Me Relocate and Begin a Healing Chapter

My name is Nikkie, and I’m asking for help to relocate to a better environment — somewhere I can begin to truly heal, rebuild, and create a healthier future for myself.

For many years, I have battled depression. I’ve been on my own since the age of 17, and most of my life I’ve had to depend only on myself. But after losing my dad — and then later losing my brother to suicide — my world shattered. Those losses changed everything inside of me. I’ve carried emotional pain that has been incredibly difficult to navigate on my own.

I want to honor them by choosing life. By choosing to keep going.

I also want to honor Chester Bennington and others who have struggled with depression — those whose voices and hearts mattered deeply. My first tattoo will be dedicated to them, and to everyone who fights silently through darkness.

This relocation is not about “running away.”

It’s about giving myself a chance to breathe, to grow, and to be in a healthier place — mentally and emotionally. I want to live for my dad, my brother, and for Chester… and also for myself.

My goal is $3,000 — this will help cover the costs of relocating and transitioning into a safer and more positive environment that supports my healing.
