Rebuilding my engineer office in Gaza

I am engineer Hassan Gandeel
Palestinian from Gaza, 25 years old.
it's so hard for me as a person to work and strive for years to build a place and name for myself in the field of architectural design.
Then, in less than a second, my dream turns to ashes, and I find myself without work and without the means to support my family, besides my father's irregular job.
Three years ago, I worked tirelessly day and night to create my own dream (an architectural design and real estate office)."
It was a big dream for me. I faced a lot of difficulties and started working in demanding jobs with limited daily wages, sometimes as low as $5, so that I could afford to complete my studies in interior design college. I managed to balance work and university, despite the blockade, tough circumstances, and limited job opportunities in Gaza. I worked hard and had a lot of patience.
Finally, I took the first steps in building my own project , I was able to open my first business and named it "Arabesca Interior Design Office."
I started from scratch and rented a small office. I began this work with my own laptop and a few basic engineering tools that I was able to provide it.
With these limited resources, I started working, and after a long journey of hard work, experience, and challenges, I was finally able to develop and expand it.
My humble office has now become a big office with several engineers, equipped with all the necessary tools and devices. I designed it from scratch with the latest decorations, paying attention to every detail, and furnished it with the most beautiful furniture.
I worked really hard to establish the office, which was located in Burj Wattan in Gaza. But after that, the war came, and Burj Wattan was one of the first towers to be destroyed without any warning.
The tower was destroyed and turned into a pile of rubble. My workplace was destroyed, and my dream and future became are rubble.
All the years of hard work went in vain.

أنا المهندس حسن قنديل من فلسطين غزة.
كم هو صعب عليّ كإنسان أن أعمل واجتهد لسنوات لكِ ابني لي مكان واسم لعملي في مجال التصميم الهندسي ثم بأقل من ثانية يصبح حلمي رماد وأُصبح بلا عمل وبلا مقومات الحياة حيث كان مصدر الدخيل الوحيد الذي كان يعيل عائلتي إلى جانب عمل أبي الغير منتظم
فقبل ثلاث سنوات مضت عملتُ جاهداً ليلاً ونهاراً لكِ أصل لحلمي الخاص بي ( مكتب هندسي للتصميم الداخلي والعقارات )
كان حلم كبير بالنسبة لي تحديت الكثير من الصعوبات وبدأت أعمل بوظائف مجهدة وبيومية محدودة قد تصل ل 5$ لكِ استطيع إنهاء دراستي بكلية هندسة الديكور
وتمكنت من الجمع بين العمل والجامعة في ان واحد ,رغم الحصار والظروف الصعبة وقلة فرص العمل في غزة إلا انني عملت جاهداً وصبرتُ كثيرآ لكِ أخطو أول خطواتي في بناء مشروعي الخاص رغم كل المعيقات التي واجهتني الا أنني بحمدالله استطعت فتح أول مشروع لي وأسميته مكتب أرابيسكا للتصميم الداخلي
وبالفعل بدأت بالعمل من الصفر وقمت بإستئجار مكتب صغير وبدأت هذا العمل بجهاز اللابتوب الخاص بي وبضع من الأدوات الهندسية البسيطة التي استطعت توفيرها وبهذه الإمكانيات البسيطة بدأت بالعمل وبعد جهدٍ طويل من العمل والخبرات والصعاب التي مررت بها أخيراً استطعت تطويرها وتكبيرها , واذ بالمكتب المتواضع أصبح مكتب كبير يضم عدداً من الموظفين المهندسين ويحتوي على العديد من الأدوات والأجهزة اللازمة لهذا العمل حيث قمت بتصميمه من الصفر بأحدث الديكورات وأهتممت بأدق التفاصيل وجهزته بأجمل الأثاث
نعم لقد تعبت كثيراً لكِ أنشأ المكتب الذي كان موقعه ببرج وطن بغزة
أم بعد ذلك أتت الحرب وكان برج وطن من أول الأبراج التي تم تدميرها بدون سابق إنذار فتدمر البرج وأصبح كومة من الركام وتدمر مكان عملي وأصبح حلمي ومستقبلي سراب و ذهب تعب السنين سدى
