Rebuilding Memories After Tragic Fire

Yesterday morning, my family lost everything.

In the early hours, our family home went up in flames—completely engulfed and reduced to ashes. My 84-year-old grandparents, my mother, and my brother barely made it out alive. By the grace of God, they escaped with their lives—but nothing else.

Not a single item could be salvaged. Not a pair of socks. Not a photo album. Not even my grandmother’s glasses, which she now has to go without. Everything they’ve spent a lifetime building—gone in moments.

This home held decades of love, memories, and security. It was where we gathered for holidays, where stories were told, where grandchildren learned to walk, and where our family found peace. Now, all that remains is rubble and heartbreak.

They are now completely homeless, left with only the clothes they were wearing during their escape. The trauma of losing everything is immeasurable—but we are thankful they’re alive.One of our pets did not survive the blaze.

We are asking for your help to begin the long, painful road to recovery. Funds raised will go toward emergency shelter, food, clothing, medication, and essentials—and eventually, to help rebuild a new place to call home.
