Imagine receiving a phone call informing you that your entire livelihood you started out of the garage of your home and grew over 15 plus years was gone. This is the call Jesse Hancox of Meticulous Detail Manufacturing received yesterday morning, Saturday, January 24th, 2026.

The two-alarm blaze raged unforgivingly through walls igniting anything in its path effectively shuttering several businesses. The Portland Fire Department was able to contain the fires path to just the one building in the complex. We are all so grateful that no one was onsite during this time. Due to the buildings damage it is unsafe to assess or even recover any salvageable machines or equipment that could potentially help Jesse reopen in a new location and keep his employees working. This realization is weighing heavily on Jesse knowing the financial impact this loss will have on his employees and their families.

Looking ahead, Jesse is hopeful in being able to provide some financial assistance to his employees while also replacing the necessary equipment and machines to reopen.
