Rebuilding MBOSQ Family Home

Hello, this gofundme is dedicated to the MBOSQ family house, which was lost in a tragic fire that occurred on June 12th at midnight while they slept.

(This is Omar and Yani, the son and daughter of Omar and Ana Moreno.. The owners and chefs of MBOSQ Mexican Food Cart.)

Most of you know who we are, but to those who don't.. We all run and operate a small family owned food cart that we started a year ago. During that year we all quit our day jobs in pursuit of starting something that we could all call our own. It was a huge blessing to see our parents hard work finally pay off. But, it's been an even greater blessing that their lives were spared from the fire.

We know our parents and those who personally know them will agree with us. They will never admit that they need help. This isn't something that is easy for them. Us creating this gofundme isn't something that they asked for. But it is something that will help them.

They have always been hardworking people who have never asked for anything from anyone. The last thing that they want is to feel like someones burden. But we now know that this is going to be a process that'll last anywhere from 12-15 months. 12-15 months of waiting for their home to be rebuilt, and dealing with the emotional roller coaster that comes with losing the place where they planted their roots, created memories and raised their children. Things will not be the same, but the show must go on. In the meantime we will continue to provide you all with the best that we can offer. The work schedule and working hours will be greatly reduced. As we no longer have a base of operations.

Thank you all so much for your kind words of encouragement, hope and prayers. Many of you are looking for ways that you can help... And we are so grateful for that.

Hola, este gofundme está dedicado a la casa de la familia MBOSQ, que se perdió en un trágico incendio ocurrido el 12 de junio a la media noche mientras dormían.

La mayoría de ustedes saben quiénes somos, pero para aquellos que no ... Todos manejamos y operamos un pequeño carrito de comida familiar que comenzamos hace un año. Durante ese año, todos renunciamos a nuestros trabajos diurnos en pos de comenzar algo que todos pudiéramos llamar nuestro. Fue una gran bendición ver que el arduo trabajo de nuestros padres finalmente dio sus frutos. Pero, ha sido una bendición aún mayor que sus vidas se salvaron del fuego.

Sabemos que nuestros padres y quienes los conocen personalmente estarán de acuerdo con nosotros. Nunca admitirán que necesitan ayuda. Esto no es algo que les resulte fácil. Que nosotros creáramos este gofundme no es algo que pidieron. Pero es algo que les ayudará.

Siempre han sido personas trabajadoras que nunca le han pedido nada a nadie. Lo último que quieren es sentirse como una carga para alguien. Pero ahora sabemos que este será un proceso que durará entre 12 y 15 meses. 12 a 15 meses esperando que se reconstruyera su hogar y lidiando con las emociones que conlleva perder el lugar donde plantaron sus raíces, crearon recuerdos y criaron a sus hijos. Las cosas no serán iguales, pero el espectáculo debe continuar. Mientras tanto, continuaremos brindándoles a todos lo mejor que podemos ofrecer. El horario de trabajo y las horas de trabajo se reducirán considerablemente. Como ya no tenemos una base de operaciones.
