Rebuilding Margot and Rolando’s Home After the Fire

Donation protected
Our family is heartbroken. On January 18, my sister-in-law, Margot, lost her home in the catastrophic fires that swept through Lirquén, Chile. In just a few hours, the home she and her husband, Rolando, built with their own hands was gone.

Nearly 80% of the town was destroyed, and many families were left without homes or basic necessities. Margot and Rolando made it out safely, but their home is a total loss. Like many families in Chile, their home was not insured, so rebuilding will rely entirely on the support of their community.

We are raising funds to help with immediate needs like temporary housing, clothing, food, and other essentials, as well as the longer road ahead as they begin to rebuild their home and their lives.

Any amount truly helps. If you’re not able to donate, sharing this page means just as much.

Thank you so much for your kindness, generosity, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
