Hello, we are Haya (26) and Mo’tasem (26).

On February 17, 2025, we got engaged — a day filled with joy, hope, and dreams of building a peaceful home together. We began preparing our small apartment piece by piece, imagining laughter echoing through its walls and a simple, happy life ahead.

But before our marriage could even begin, war shattered everything.

Our unfinished home was destroyed. Mo’tasem lost his only job. In one night, all we had built with love and effort — our furniture, savings, and dreams — turned into rubble.

Since then, we have been displaced multiple times, living in temporary shelters and tents, enduring the cold, hunger, and uncertainty that every family in Gaza knows too well. Despite our strength and faith, we’ve reached a point where we can no longer recover alone.

This campaign is our chance to begin again — to rebuild a small home, secure basic essentials, and create a space where we can live with dignity, safety, and hope.
