I have been in the carpentry field for over 25 years. I began a business here in Torrington in 2019 and it ran smoothly for 3 to 4 years. Eventually, I became burnt out from Covid and the amount of work I was doing. I decided to work with helping addicts because it was something near and dear to my heart due to my mother, who suffered an overdose and died in 2018. I went from making about $150,000 per year to $25 per hour. I am married and have two stepchildren, and it is hard to provide for them and my wife. I want to open my business again but do it much differently this time around. My goal is to hire recovering addicts and people out of prison who need jobs. I am a very good carpenter and I know there is such a demand for good ones that I know this time around my business will be even better than the first time. The only thing I’m lacking is all kinds of power tools and some ladders. My wife currently has a sedan, which is not suitable for a construction business, but I know eventually everything will come in time. But starting a company with no power tools is just not feasible and could never work. I have even compiled a list of things that I would need to start my company and I can post that on here as well. At my core, I am a really good man and helping other people succeed is my purpose in life. Any sort of help would be greatly appreciated and I’m even willing to reimburse once I get back into actually making money for my company. My company’s name would be called Taylor Home Building LLC and it would be located in Torrington, Connecticut.

if there’s any possible way, you can help a good man and a good husband buy tools to support his family doing the things he loves to do I would like to pay it for and do something nice or a veteran or someone who is disabled because to me that’s what life is about. Life is about family, love and always doing the right thing. Thank you.
