❤️ Urgent: Support for the Hayward Family Following Gas Explosion ❤️

On Thursday, our community was shaken by a devastating gas line explosion in Hayward that instantly leveled a family home and changed several lives forever. In a single moment, three adult siblings—two brothers and their sister—along with two young children, lost everything they owned. If you have seen the videos, it is their home that exploded while they were inside.

The physical and emotional toll of this tragedy is unimaginable. Two of the adult family members, along with one of the children, are currently hospitalized with severe injuries and will have to fight through a long and difficult recovery process. While one of the young children is safe, both children have been uprooted from the only home they knew, losing their clothes, toys, and sense of security in the blast.

We have been friends with this amazing, hardworking family for almost 30 years and are reaching out to ask for your compassion and support. This family has been left with nothing. No clothing, no food, no cars—everything exploded or was burned by the ensuing fire. Jorge is the brother and uncle--this was his home. He will be handling funds for the family.
