As a mom, you never want your children to deal with unimaginable heartbreak. On November 1st, my son Michael and his girlfriend Amanda lost everything they own in a devastating house fire, including their three precious cats. Investigators have determined the fire was caused by a faulty power strip, and they are lucky they were not home asleep when the fire started.
