The evening of April 7th, a fire broke out at 6007 Fort Hamilton Parkway creating damage affecting many families ranging from a local hardware business to apartment units housing multiple immigrant families at a time attempting to save up to create more stable for their families as well as families with disabled children to care for. Ultimately more than 7 firetrucks had to arrive at the scene knocking down apartment walls to ensure no embers lingering.
