Things were finally looking up when my home caught fire. I lost everything. My clothes, my bed... everything in my room. The heat damaged my laptop; there's no saving it. My roommates and I are homeless from this and are desperately asking for help. We're looking to find another place to go. We spent what we had on new clothing to get out of the smoke-stained ones we wore/escaped in. Three of us ran without shoes into the snow. We lost an emotional support cat to the smoke and heat. My roommate is devastated over losing their cat.

We are all at a loss and are trying to pick up the pieces we have left.
