Hi, my name is Sharon, and I’m raising funds to rebuild my life with my two incredible children after overcoming significant challenges. In 2024, I walked away from an unhealthy marriage and a toxic environment, only to face the unexpected loss of my full-time job just days before Christmas. These events forced me to defer my mortgage payments and let go of a property, but I remain steadfast in my determination to create a better future for my family.

This fundraiser is a step toward turning my circumstances around and pursuing my dream of starting a business in life coaching and mindset mentoring. I’m passionate about this field because I believe it can lead to financial freedom and allow me to provide a stable, fulfilling life for my children. To me, my children are gifts to this world. My 16-year-old has incredible potential and would benefit greatly from having a laptop to support their education, while my 18-year-old is pursuing their dream of higher education, with university fees totaling $19,000 this year. As asylum seekers, we face limited access to support systems, making these financial burdens even harder to bear.

I’ve also begun my own journey of professional development, enrolling in a coaching program to achieve my qualifications. This program is an investment in our future, but with fees of $18,000 and limited resources, I am struggling to keep up while also providing for my family.
