Rebuilding Life After Toxic Mold

Hello, we’re a family of five who all got extremely ill due to a malfunction in our home’s HVAC system which caused toxic mold to take over. We had to abandon almost everything we own due to the mold toxicity. Three people in our family have compromised immune systems (Down syndrome, autoimmune encephalitis, autoimmune disease), thereby we cannot risk recontamination through our personal belongings. Nearly everything in our home has to be replaced: including full refurnishing replacement. Due to a mold contingency in our insurance policy, our insurance will not cover replacing or remediating our personal belongings. 

Our family also  incurred a fair amount of medical bills as a result of mold toxicity poisoning. Including ongoing expenses to further treat the effects mold toxicity had on our health.

This has been a devastating experience, and it is humbling to ask for help. Thank you ahead of time for your generosity. Your help will help our family rebuild and heal.
