Help Me Rebuild My Life After Escaping Abuse

⚠️ Trigger Warning: Sexual abuse, narcissistic abuse, trauma recovery

After 38 years of silence, I am finally telling the truth.

After moving over 30 times in the past decade, a lifetime of fear, depression, isolation, and instability, and over 11 years of therapy, I finally discovered the root of my story—I am a survivor of sexual abuse and narcissistic abuse from within my own family.

And right now, I need your help.

I have finally broken away from my abusers and I am trying to rebuild my life from the ground up.

I am currently living as a foreigner in an unstable situation in Spain without the financial means to leave. At the same time, I’ve made the difficult decision to cut off support from an abusive family member—choosing freedom, even though it means starting over with nothing.

I am asking for your help to:

Secure safe and stable housing for me and my fur-baby cat, Freddy Mercury
Cover basic living and transition expenses
Leave my current situation (where my visa has expired) and relocate
Rebuild financial independence and self-sufficiency
Start a savings account to finally have an emergency fund
Finally be able to start paying off over $36K in credit card debt
Finally be able to get medical insurance
Cover medical expenses that I haven't been able to afford for the past year
Continue my healing journey with proper professional support

I cannot do this alone anymore. And I cannot keep carrying this burden of trauma alone.

I am committed to donating 20% of all donations to RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network), the largest anti-sexual violence organization in the U.S.

RAINN supports survivors through their National Sexual Assault Hotline (800.656.HOPE & online.rainn.org), working with over 1,100 local crisis centers, and providing prevention, healing, and justice-centered programs.
