Aloha, my name is Keiki and I’m from the Westside of Kaua’i—prominently the Kekaha area. As of recent, Hurricane Lowell has devastated the local area and has: uprooted trees, toss over boulders, and blowed down power lines within the Town Limits. Though we know not when we can fully return back to a sense of normalcy, given the social and economical climate of this day and age compared to previous storms that ravaged the Garden Isle (Iniki, etc.,), the prospect of financially coming out of this alive is looking grim. Our water mainline has been destroyed as well as our sink and washroom areas. The main funds will be used to rebuild on our original property: the fence, and main waterline. Without these, our home will remain in ruin until we raise enough.
