Hi, my name is Kyasia Knowledge, and I’m raising funds on behalf of my mother, Kacey, the heart and soul behind Kacey’s Kitchen.

Just last week, everything inside her food truck was lost due to an undetermined fire. In a matter of seconds, the dream she poured her entire life savings into was gone.

Kacey’s Kitchen was never just a food truck.

Before becoming a chef, my mom worked as an LPN, spending years caring for others. Later in life, she followed a different calling, one rooted in comfort, culture, and community and became a chef. Kacey’s Kitchen was born from that leap of faith.

For the past three years, Kacey’s Kitchen has supported our family of four children and provided more than just meals to the people she served. It was a place where customers became family, where love was cooked into every dish, and where my mom envisioned creating a legacy she could one day pass down to her children.

That legacy mattered to her deeply.

This wasn’t a side project.

This was her future.

Losing the truck didn’t just mean losing equipment, it meant losing stability, income, and the physical space where her dream lived. Yet even through this heartbreak, my mom’s spirit remains unbroken.

We are asking for support to help rebuild Kacey’s Kitchen, bigger, stronger, and better than before. Every donation will go toward replacing the equipment, restoring the truck, and helping my mom get back on her feet so she can continue doing what she loves and supporting her family.
