Hello everyone, my name is Amber and I'm reaching out to anyone and everyone possible regarding a recent devastating loss in my family. Last week, a horrific house fire raged through my Grandma Karen's home, destroying just about EVERYTHING she owned, from everyday items to irreplaceable keepsakes.
Unfortunately, she did not have renter's insurance, and therefore faces the daunting task of having to start completely anew, with the weight of the tragedy weighing so heavily on her shoulders. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly towards providing her with the essentials she needs (e.g. clothing, food, dishes, household items, furniture, acquiring a secure place to call home, etc.)
Karen's strength and resilience have carried so many of us through some of our toughest times, and now it's our turn to come together and offer her the support she so desperately right now. The emotional distress as well as the journey to rebuild her life from scratch are challenges that no one should ever have to face alone. So, let's rally around Karen and show her that she is not alone! Together, we can all make an effort to help her rebuild not only her physical surroundings, but also a sense of security and belonging that a home represents.
