Rebuilding Hope: The Allison Family Journey After the Fire

Hi everyone, my name is Imani Allison. I am reaching out to share that my family (Aldra Allison, Herman Allison, and Hassan Allison) has been deeply affected by the Eaton fire, which tragically resulted in the loss of our home. Fortunately, my parents and brother were able to evacuate safely, and for that, we are incredibly grateful. However, this loss is overwhelming for my family, particularly for my parents, who have cherished so many memories in our home.

For those who know my parents, our house has always been a lively meeting spot, welcoming friends and family for everything from a place to stay, BBQs, birthdays, meetings, holidays, and more. In addition to opening their home, both my parents worked in city government helping others with their housing needs. As we navigate the grief of losing 27 years of memories, we are also beginning to think about rebuilding our lives, which will take time and effort.

During this challenging journey, any support, kind words, or time you can offer would mean the world to us. We truly appreciate your generosity.
