Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Hearts,

I write to you today with a heavy heart, yet also with a glimmer of hope and determination from the resilience of my wife’s family. Just a few days ago, tragedy struck when their beloved home, a symbol of years of hard work and sacrifice, was consumed by flames, leaving behind nothing but ashes and rubble.

The journey to that home was not an easy one. My wife, driven by a deep sense of duty to her family as the eldest child, began saving for its construction at just the age of 16, enduring separation from her loved ones as she worked overseas to make her dream a reality. Her sacrifices, though challenging, were a testament to her unwavering determination and love for her family.

Finally, after years of perseverance, the home stood as a testament to her resilience and the power of family bonds. It was a place of warmth, laughter, cherished memories and late night karaoke. However, fate had other plans, and in a cruel twist of fate, the flames reduced it to rubble, sparing only four walls on the first floor.

Yet, amidst the devastation, there is hope. Miraculously, every family member escaped unharmed, a blessing for which we are eternally grateful to the Lord. Now, as we face the daunting task of rebuilding, we turn to you, our community, for support.
