In 2024, Andrew achieved his dream of becoming a first-time homeowner. Tragically, that dream was cut short by the devastating Palisades fires that swept through his community.

During the chaotic evacuation, he went door-to-door to alert his neighbors about the approaching flames. His quick thinking and bravery didn’t just help spread awareness—at least one neighbor credits Andrew with saving their life, as they were unaware of the imminent danger. In one selfless moment, he went onto a neighbor’s property to ensure their teenage son who was home alone made it out safely.

In the rush to get everyone else to safety, Andrew had little time to save his own belongings. He escaped the fire with only a single file cabinet, his dog Henry, and the clothes on his back.

Andrew has always been the kind of person who goes above and beyond for those around him, yet he’s the last person to ask for help for himself. That’s why we, his friends and neighbors, are coming together to support him in this difficult time. Andrew now faces the long journey of reestablishing his life.
