Hello, I am Kristina from Gaza, a medical laboratory specialist.

I was living a peaceful and happy life in the Gaza strip along with my beloved husband and recently we had a beautiful baby boy.

I had many dreams, ambitions and successes, a beautiful, colourful life, but as you know, the Israeli occupation destroyed our dreams and lives, and we lost our homes, money, and family members in this war.

Today I am experiencing one of the most difficult days of our lives!

My child Ibrahim is now infected due to the spread of epidemics and diseases now, and we find insects on our bodies now. The situation is dire. My child's condition is dangerous, and this disease will cause his side effects. There are no doctors or hospitals to care for him. My husband and I are frustrated with the problem. This situation is my child. He cannot sleep well and does not eat well. He has lost 5 kilograms of his weight. We only have this child. He is the only joy and hope in our lives. I cannot imagine losing him.

I was close to opening my own medical laboratory in Gaza and I had put all my effort into completing this project. But the harsh war on Gaza finished everything, I lost my job and my own equipment, and unfortunately there is neither electricity nor equipment’s to do our jobs.

My only hope is to save my little family and get out of Gaza, to start a new life from scratch.

Urgently:

My Husband’s father hospitalised again. This time because of the spread of an infection. His body is weak. He was in the hospital because he had a cancer condition. 

He needs treatment urgently, as the pain and cancerous tumor have increased and getting worse. As you know, due to preventing the entry of medicines and aid, there are currently no medications or chemical doses in hospitals to reduce the disease. All that is being circulated is painkillers only. 

We pray and hope that the crossing will be reopened and travel will be allowed to Egypt to receive treatment or even undergo surgery to remove the cancerous tumor.
