Hurricane Melissa has devastated the South Coast of Jamaica — destroying homes, flooding communities, and leaving families with nothing but hope.

For me, this isn’t just another story on the news — it’s family. During the height of COVID, I was taken in by friends in St. Elizabeth who treated me as one of their own. We shared meals, laughter, and love. They became my second family, and Jamaica became my home away from home.

Now, those same families in Treasure Beach and surrounding communities are struggling to rebuild their lives — and I can’t stand by and do nothing.

How I’m Helping

In just a few weeks, I’ll be traveling to St. Elizabeth to personally bring suitcases full of humanitarian supplies and deliver them directly to families who need it most. My best friend’s family, who are among those affected, are helping coordinate local efforts on the ground to make sure every donation reaches the right hands.

All funds raised will go straight into relief work, supporting the purchase and delivery of:

✅ Food and dry goods

✅ Toiletries, hygiene kits, and first-aid items

✅ Lightweight clothing, bedding, and towels

✅ Materials for home cleanup and repair

Whenever possible, supplies will be purchased locally in Jamaica to help small businesses recover and strengthen the local economy.

Large suitcases to fill with donations

Why It Matters

When I needed belonging, St. Elizabeth gave me a home. The people there showed me the meaning of community, resilience, and unconditional love. Now it’s my turn to give back — to help them rebuild with dignity and hope.

Every dollar, suitcase, or supply makes a difference.
