Hello, my name is Penny.

During the Eaton Fire, the home I lived in for 20 years was completely destroyed. My 6 years old daughter and I lost everything—our memories, our sense of security, and the last connection we had to my late husband.

In 2023, my beloved husband, Thom, fell ill and sadly passed away. His illness not only took his life but also left me with the full financial burden, including his medical expenses and other debts. For a long time, I struggled to stay afloat, doing everything I could to provide a stable life for my daughter. Just as things were beginning to improve, the Eaton Fire took everything away from us again.

Now, I am facing the overwhelming challenge of rebuilding our home while ensuring that my daughter has a safe and stable environment to grow up in. The funds raised will be used to rebuild our home and cover essential living expenses for my daughter, including housing, food, and education.
