Keeping Valeria and Isaac in Our Hearts

It is with a completely shattered heart that I write this today. My daughter Valeria and my son-in-law Isaac are facing a level of devastation that no young couple should ever have to endure.

The last few weeks have been a nightmare of unimaginable loss:

On April 2nd of this year, they tragically lost their sweet baby at 20 weeks. The grief of losing a child is a pain that never truly leaves you.

On April 17th, they tried to look toward the future and closed on their brand new home—a place to heal, rebuild, and start fresh.

May 18th, the devastating "Stinky Fire" swept through and took absolutely everything.

They have lost their baby, and now they have lost their home and every single possession they owned. They are starting over from absolute zero while trying to mourn the loss of their child. It is completely unfair, and they are understandably devastated.

Valeria and Isaac are two of the strongest people I know, but right now, they cannot carry this burden alone. They need their village.
