Our family is going through an incredibly difficult time. My granddaughter, Amelia, and her mother, Unity, lost everything in a devastating house fire caused by an electrical malfunction. They were living with Unity’s grandmother when the fire broke out and destroyed their home and all of their belongings.

By the grace of God and the heroic actions of the Pasadena Police Department, Unity’s grandmother was rescued after officers broke down her door to get her out safely. She is currently in the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery, for which we are extremely grateful.

Unfortunately, the fire left Unity and Amelia with nothing. All clothing, beds, diapers, wipes, and household essentials were lost. Amelia’s Christmas gifts and toys were also destroyed, making this loss especially heartbreaking during the holiday season.

We are asking for help to support Unity and Amelia as they work to get back on their feet. Donations will go toward replacing basic necessities such as clothing, diapers, wipes, beds, and other essentials to help them start over.
