Rebuilding Hope for Tabby and Her Children

Life can change in an instant—and for my friend Tabby, it changed all at once.

Just weeks ago, her 5-year-old daughter, Sam, became critically ill, coded, and had to be resuscitated before being rushed to a larger hospital for extensive testing.

Shortly after bringing her little girl home, the only reliable vehicle she had suffered a broken axle. At the same time, her second vehicle broke down as well (the fuel pump failed and is currently being repaired). As a single mom of four, transportation isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity for work, school, and medical care.

And now Tabby and her 4 children is working to find a safe and healthy living space after a 3 year relationship ended - she needs help.

She is a hardworking CNA who has always taken care of others, but her savings have been completely depleted trying to keep her family afloat and her vehicles running. Right now, the biggest hurdles are the basics:

First month’s rent and security deposit for a safe place to live

Essential vehicle repairs to get to work

General living expenses while she stabilizes her family

This isn’t about handouts—it’s about giving a strong mother and four amazing kids the chance to land on their feet after being knocked down repeatedly.

If you’re able to donate, no matter the amount, it would mean the world. If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser is just as powerful. Every bit of kindness helps rebuild stability, safety, and hope during an incredibly dark chapter.

Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping remind this family that they are not alone.

How the funds will be used:
First month’s rent: $1,200
Security deposit: $1,200
Vehicle repairs (axle, fuel pump, related costs): $1,200
Estimated total: $3,600

This goal reflects the base level needs for this family to secure safe housing, restore reliable transportation and to provide stability while she continues working and rebuilding for her children.
