Dear Neighbors,

I imagine you have heard by now that Patrick and Carol of 460 14th Street suffered a devastating fire the day before Thanksgiving. It broke out in a newly installed fuse box while they were away. The fire and smoke quickly spread throughout the house, causing severe damage to every room on all four floors.

Their newly renovated home is now uninhabitable. They will be living in Staten Island for at least the next six months.

Patrick and Carol have been living on 14th Street for the last 17 years. Patrick actually grew up on the block and loved it so much, he decided to move back.

Something like this could happen to any of us. As a block association, we stand together in good times and bad. Let's each do what we can to help Patrick and Carol and their two children. Thank you.
