As we come together tonight, I want to acknowledge the turmoil we experienced during last night’s storm. Many of us felt a sense of fear and uncertainty, especially as the winds howled around us and power was lost. Each of us likely has our own story from that night, filled with worry about our loved ones and the safety of our homes.
However, it's important to recognize that some of our family members are facing even greater challenges. Two of our members and their families are currently displaced, unable to return to their homes, facing uncertainty about what tomorrow will bring. Tragically, two others lost their homes entirely in the devastating fire.
While some might say it’s just a house, we know it’s so much more—it’s a place filled with memories, warmth, and love. Our hearts go out to those who are struggling during this difficult time.
While we currently know of four PCA family members who have been affected, we have over 700 members, and we understand that there may be others who are in need. If you have been displaced or lost your home, please reach out to me or Brian. We want to ensure that we are here to support all our family members impacted by this tragedy.
While the displacement may be temporary or longer, there are daily needs that our affected family members will face. In this time of crisis, financial assistance can help provide for those essential items—everything from food and clothing to toiletries and roof over their heads
Let’s come together as a family to support one another, to share our resources, and to offer our help in whatever way we can. Together, we can weather this storm and help our family members find hope and healing in the days ahead.
Our goal is to ease their burden and show them that they are not alone during this challenging time
Together, we can make a meaningful difference for those in need within our PCA family
