My name is Saleh Hajaj (Abu Malik). I am 47 years old and from Gaza, Palestine. I am raising this campaign for my own family, which includes my wife and our five children. We are displaced and living in temporary shelter after losing our home in the current crisis.
My family has lived through repeated loss since 2008. In the first war I lost my mother and my sister and our home was destroyed. We rebuilt and tried to move forward, but in 2014 the house was destroyed again. This time the damage has reached every part of life. We now live in a tent with no stability, limited water and food, and almost no income. My children are growing and their needs grow with them, but I cannot provide even the basics.
What the funds will support:
• Food and clean water
• Warm clothes, blankets and hygiene supplies
• Simple household items we need for daily life
• Safer temporary shelter and transport if required
• Basic stability for my children while we wait for better conditions
How the funds will reach us:
Because GoFundMe withdrawals are not supported in Gaza, the donations will be withdrawn by a trusted person in a supported country. This person will transfer the funds to us directly so we can buy what my family needs. They are someone I know personally and trust completely to handle the funds on our behalf.
I am not raising money for any political or military purpose. This fundraiser is only for essential humanitarian needs for my wife and children.
