Hello everyone,

My name is Latisha R. Coore, though most people simply call me “Miss Tisha.” I’m a single mom blessed to raise a wonderful daughter who is currently away at college. She had been looking forward to coming home for the holidays — but the place we once called home is no longer there.

On October 21, 2025, our lives changed in an instant. A fire — caused by circumstances beyond our control and the negligence of others — destroyed our home and everything inside it. What was supposed to be our safe place, our foundation, was suddenly gone.

We are now left with the painful reality of starting over from nothing.

I’m sharing our story because we urgently need help. I know the holidays are a difficult time for many and that finances are tight for countless families. It’s not easy for me to ask, but I’m reaching out with an open heart. Any support — no matter how small — will help my daughter and me take the first steps toward rebuilding our lives and securing a new place to call home.
