Hello, my name is Carlene Edwards-McDonald . I am currently living in Scarborough Ontario Canada. I am organizing this fundraising to support children who have been displaced after the devastating Category 5 Hurricane Melissa, which struck Jamaica from Sunday , October 26 to Monday, October 27.

This powerful storm left parts of the Islands in ruins destroying homes, school, and community centers. Many children have lost not only their homes but also their sense of safety and stability. As a mother and a social worker with deep roots in Jamaica, I cannot stand by while these young lives are turned upside down.

The funds will go directly towards providing emergency supplies , such as food, clothing, shelter materials and school essentials, to help children and their families rebuild their lives. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference in restoring hope to those mostly affected.
