Help Autumn & Jarett Rebuild After a Devastating Vehicle Fire
On what should have been an ordinary day, Autumn and Jarett experienced a tragedy that changed their lives in an instant.
While traveling on Interstate 10, another vehicle struck theirs on the Bayway. Within moments, their vehicle was engulfed in flames. They had only seconds to escape before watching helplessly as everything they had with them was consumed by the fire.
By God's grace, and two Earth Angels, both Autumn and Jarett survived.
Although their baby was not in the vehicle at the time and is safe, the family's lives have been turned upside down.
The fire didn't just destroy their only vehicle. It destroyed the things they relied on every day to care for their family and earn a living.
Among the items lost were:
- Their only vehicle
- Autumn's prescription glasses
- Autumn's dentures
- Autumn's driver's license and identification
- Clothing, shoes, and personal belongings
- Jarett's phone
- Jarett's driver's license
- Jarett's work tools that he depends on to provide for his family
- Their baby's car seat
- $3,000 in cash they had saved to pay their rent
- Countless personal belongings that can never be replaced
In just a few terrifying moments, nearly everything they had with them was gone. Everything they owned to provide for their family was in that vehicle.
While they are deeply grateful that God spared their lives, they now face the overwhelming task of starting over from scratch.
The funds raised through this campaign will help replace essential items, secure safe transportation, purchase a new car seat for their baby, replace identification and medical necessities, help cover rent, and provide the stability they need as they rebuild their lives.
Autumn and Jarett never imagined they would find themselves in a position where they needed to ask for help, but today they are humbly accepting the kindness of others.
