Help Autumn and Her Family Rebuild After Tragic Loss and a House Fire

Autumn has always been the heart of her family and community — a woman who gives selflessly and loves without limits. She’s been a second mother to many, including my fiancé, who grew up with her guidance and care.

For me, Autumn has also been like a bonus mom for over ten years — someone who has supported me, loved me, and isn’t afraid to correct me when I need it. She’s been there through every season of my life, and my own son calls her “Memaw.” To us, she is truly family. ❤️

In just a few short weeks, Autumn has faced unimaginable heartbreak. On September 27th, her oldest daughter Daysha was tragically shot and passed away the next day. The family laid her to rest on October 6th.

Before she could even begin to heal, a fire destroyed Autumn’s home, leaving her, her daughter Emma (18), her beloved grandson Aiden (5), and Katelynn — Aiden’s mother, whom Autumn has loved and taken in as her own long before Aiden was even born — with nothing.

Katelynn battles severe kidney disease and complications from a failed transplant, which have caused seizures, heart issues, and painful swelling that requires frequent draining. Autumn has been her caregiver while also helping to raise Aiden, all while grieving the loss of her daughter and now the loss of her home.

Despite everything, Autumn continues to show the same strength, grace, and love that she has always given to others.

• Replacing prescription medications and medical supplies

• Purchasing clothing, toiletries, bedding, and daily essentials

• Providing building materials and furniture for the home

• Supporting Aiden and Emma as they return to school and continue their education

My fiancé, who grew up with Autumn as a second mom, is using his construction skills to help rebuild their home and give them a safe place to start over.

This ensures that the total reflects the current needs of Autumn and her family as they begin to recover and rebuild after losing their home in a fire. This is because we are setting this up due to immediate assistance but have not yet gotten quotes for rebuilding or other costs.
