As a coworker and friend, I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of a truly deserving family who has experienced an unimaginable loss.

Christopher Deetz, Trisha Ott, and their 3 children recently lost their home in a devastating house fire. In a matter of moments, everything they had worked so hard to build was gone. Their home, personal belongings, clothing, furniture, treasured keepsakes, and everyday necessities were destroyed. Tragically, they also lost two beloved dogs who were cherished members of their family.

Despite facing one of the most difficult moments of their lives, this family continues to show the strength, kindness, and resilience that everyone who knows them has come to admire.

The stepfather is a proud veteran who currently works for Servpro, dedicating his career to helping others recover after disasters and emergencies. Day after day, he shows up to help families rebuild their lives during some of their darkest moments. Now, his own family is facing that same heartbreaking reality.

Those who know this family know they are the first to lend a helping hand, support a neighbor in need, or give generously when someone is struggling. They have always put others first, and now they need their community to rally around them.
