Rebuilding Hope: Aid Riki Cantu's Family
Donation protected
My name is Riki Cantu, Hurricane Milton hit us hard, and we lost our home. We tried to hold on, staying in the house as long as we could, hoping the storm would pass without too much damage. But the floodwaters rose quickly, reaching three feet inside our home. Then, things took a turn for the worse—a massive oak tree, one that had stood in our yard for the twelve years my family has lived there, crashed onto our roof. The impact was devastating, causing the ceilings in our living room and kitchen to collapse.
As we watched the water rise and the destruction unfold, we realized we had no choice but to leave. It was heartbreaking to see our home, filled with so many memories, become uninhabitable. Now, we are displaced, trying to find our footing in the aftermath of the storm. Our family and pets are safe, but we need help to rebuild our lives and create a new place to call home. Any assistance, no matter how small, would mean the world to us as we navigate this challenging time to help get a new rental property. Thank you for your kindness and support.
