My Mother raised me by the golden rule that you ALWAYS treat people the way you want to be treated.
This same lady would never ask for help herself, so I am doing it for her.
Saturday, January 25th my Mother's entire house she lived in with my Brother, as well as his truck were destroyed in a fire. If losing all their memories, things they cherised, every single thing a person needs and uses everyday, wasn't enough, they lost their dog Daisy and cat Grayson.
My Mom has always been a helper if someone needs help. She would not just give the shirt on her back, but the shoes off her feet if someone needed them, with no questions asked.
Many may recognize her for her involvement with Shayla Bee, or various things she helped with youth groups when I was young.
It is going to be a long road to recovery, but just like recovery from the flood, they will rise again, but they need help. Financial, donations, a friendly ear, nothing is too big or small.
