As some of you may already know, my sister, Diana, and her best friend, Destinie, have completely lost their apartment due to lightning striking the roof of their building last Thursday night in the storms that came through. A fire started in the apt. next to them. Luckily their place did not catch fire, however the main living area, dining room and kitchen were destroyed by the rescue efforts and water damage. Currently they do not have a place to call "home"... 2 adults, 1 toddler and 2 cats are displaced now. They have been told that they do not know how long it will take for repair and due to this they have to find a new place to call home as the apt. Complex is not offering any help in placing them in another unit or another property.

I am trying to raise money to help them during this unfortunate and horrible situation. Times are hard enough and to deal with this is a nightmare that neither of them needed especially right now!

Please any donation you can afford will greatly help these ladies locate and secure a new place to call home and help navigate this traumatic event!
