Help Brian Rebuild After a 5-Alarm Fire!
Donation protected
Dear family and friends,
Sometimes in tragedy, there is hope.
Last Thursday (1/14/21), a fire engulfed a block of apartment buildings in Brooklyn, including the one where our 27 year old cousin Brian has lived for six years. (Watch the news story here ). Brian was the last person to escape to safety and made it out through his 3rd story window with just the clothes on his back. He lost everything except his life.
Brian is a survivor. He’s a fearless entrepreneur who moved to New York not long after high school, working a day job and a side gig to make a life of his own. And he’s resilient, managing to stay on course while battling the challenges of the pandemic.
Now, he’s rebuilding his life and really needs our help!
The funds we raise for Brian will help him to: 1) replace his laptop, telephone and music equipment needed to immediately get back to work, 2) secure a new apartment (including first and last month’s rent, and security deposit), and 3) rebuild his wardrobe and buy essentials to outfit his new place (bed, sheets, towels, cookware . . . he needs everything!).
While Brian has suffered a devastating and profound loss, your support and encouragement gives him and our family tremendous HOPE!!
Thank you for your generosity and for being there for him. And please share with others! We'll post updates soon.
With love and gratitude, Evan, Marshall, Maya, Coleman & Clayton (Brian's family)
