Hi, may name is Jen Ogilvie and I am making this GoFundMe to benefit my friend, Erin Berlin and her family.

2 weeks before Christmas this family was told they must evacuate their home immediately due to the overwhelming amount of mold toxicity in the home.

Rewind 13 months after this family moved into their brand new DR Horton home, they began experiencing all sorts of health problems. Erin’s youngest, Adalie, has had so many respiratory issues she’s missed an exorbitant amount of school. The poor child goes into anaphylactic shock at least 3 times a week and her pediatric pulmonary doctor suspects she has permanent lung damage. After having her blood tested they found Adalie has 16x the amount of mold toxicity in her system that her body can withstand. Erin, an amazing hair dresser and salon owner, started experiencing numbness in her hands and feet 13 months after moving in. Fast forward to today, her body is riddled with tumors. The most severe being in her spinal cord. Her blood tested at 20x over the amount of mold toxicity that a body can withstand.

Rylynn and Taylor, the older of the 3 daughters, are also toxic and have experienced major health issues.

The family was told, upon having the house tested, they must leave NOW! Do not take anything with you. How do you do that when you have a mortgage and bills? Currently the family is looking for a rental but have no clue how they will afford their mortgage and the cost of a rental simultaneously. Not to mention having to buy all new furniture and clothes because the mold is in everything!

The master shower wasn't properly done as water has been seeping inside the seat and wall since the day they moved in creating toxic black mold. The spores then go into the hvac disbursing toxic spores on everything.

Erin is closing her salon on Wed after 11 years of working my because she physically can't do it anymore.

DR Horton has told the family they can continue to live in the home but all the experts are telling them to leave. Obviously, the family will have to stay out of the home until a solution is found as their health is the first priority. Please help if you can.
