Rebuilding from Ash: Help Jason Start Over

Hi everyone,

I am writing this with a heavy heart to ask for support for our dear friend, Jason.

Today, Jason’s world changed in an instant. A devastating fire tore through his apartment building, burning his home to the ground. Thankfully, Jason and his kids are safe, but tragically, he lost absolutely everything he owned.

Most heartbreaking of all, Jason lost his beloved cat in the fire.

Aside from the clothes on his back, everything is gone.

• His Home: All furniture, clothing, and sentimental items.

• His Livelihood/Passion: Jason lost all of his camera equipment. Photography isn't just a hobby for him; it is a huge part of who he is and how he expresses himself.

• Basic Necessities: He is currently starting from zero.

If you know Jason, you know he is the first person to show up when someone else is in need. He is an incredible father who puts his children first above all else, and a kind, generous friend who is constantly helping others. It is incredibly difficult to see someone who gives so much to the world lose everything in a single moment.

Now, it’s our turn to help him.

How You Can Help

We are looking to raise money to help Jason get back on his feet. The funds will go directly toward:

• Securing immediate temporary housing and a deposit for a new apartment.

• Buying clothes, toiletries, and food for him and his children.

• Replacing essential furniture and household items.

• Eventually helping him replace his camera gear so he can get back to doing what he loves.
